Little piece in CityAM this morning regarding the most Dove-ish (least worried about inflation) member of the MPC (Monetary Policy Committee). This was written as a sub-column after the story about him being the only member of the MPC not to vote to freeze Bank Rate las month. Not sure if true of course, but, considering he's American it implies that there are some old Spurs fans on the MPC

Known as Danny after the former Tottenham double-winning captain Danny Blanchflower, the US economist has been dubbed the "happiness guru" after calculating the financial benefits to one's happiness of a long-lasting marriage.
