A great read for trhe football purist and interesting comments regarding Scholari.
What caught my eye was the Arsenal rlated stuff at the end -
....Dein voiced a deep concern about the club's property development at their old Highbury home.
"the flats are £500k up to 1.5m", said Dein. "A lot of people put 50k down but can't find the balance now because the tap has been turned off for mortgages."
"Will it make any difference? Maybe not. But where it should make £100m, maybe now it will make only £20m or £30m, maybe zero. I don't know. It affects the two bonds they have got, for £210m and £50m. They were going to pay the £50m (bond) off from the proceeds of Highbury Square. They may not be able to. Arsenal can't go bust. It's just a drain that every year they are expected to find £25m - £30m to service it (bonds)."
Have a read of The telegraph article by Henry Winter - certainly some interesting opinions.
