It looks like Tottenham Hotspur is closing in on the signing of David Raya.
I wonder how much consideration has been given to his height - compared to other top-flight goalies.

He's done very well the past few seasons. I don't see how his height will suddenly become a problem now

2nd most Crosses claimed in the league this year - 50 in 38 games. (Behind only Emi Martinez with 55)
Last year had 27 in 24 starts - which would have been on par with 2nd best over 38 games.

It’ll be weird to have a keeper who is actually competent with the ball at his feet.
It’s such a huge part of the game these days, it seems like the last few years almost every team has a keeper who is better with the ball than half of our outfield players.
I won’t lie, I won’t miss Hugo playing neck high balls that takes three touches to control to one of our wingbacks .
