Hoping this improves our defence‘s ability to resist the press. Hugo was a world class shot stopper, and he gets a lot of unfair stick, but his ball skills have always been severely lacking and more often than not his kicking would put us under pressure.

I think having someone who can kick will make a huge difference.

Very good keeper from what I've seen and read. Coming up to his prime, plus homegrown. Could be our most important signing this window.

Think low 30s is about right in the current market for a good, homegrown keeper like Raya.

I do wonder how Newcastle got Pope for so cheap though. He's not as good with his feet, bit older and Burnley were relegated, but even so he's a really decent keeper and 10m is an absolute steal.

I think being great with your feet is so on trend atm you pay a massive premium. I'm sure we could get a decent homegrown keeper, who's a good shot stopper, but isn't good with his feet, for 15m ish
