Honestly, if you take notice of what POK says just do it quietly, I’ve had this conversation before where I’ve said the bloke passes on information and has a track record where some has been true, and some hasn’t happened. Like literally EVERY ‘ITK’ there is.

What I would say about POK is he pretty much always tells it as it is / what he knows, publicly, and if he doesn’t know, will say he doesn’t know. Never gives it the old ‘we’re in discussions with a player but I can’t say who it is’ line, so have to respect that.

it happens both ways to the extent that’s it now feels chicken and egg. I think the problem for most (could be wrong is the double standard) is the seemingly double standard I’d say what you want about other itk’s info but not ours.

I’m not for a minute suggesting people pile on Trix and co, what I’m suggesting is maybe we don’t need to pile on ‘ITK’ from elsewhere in much the same way we can’t dispute etc those on this site.

If they slag off on Twitter, ignore it. Don’t give them the airtime. There is no ITK that is 100%, how can there be.

Just for me it’s a bad look when someone who is a spurs fan shares something and then gets tacky abuse from mods etc. Like stoof said, you could be in the pub next to the bloke. Either believe, or disbelieve, but the snipes etc, lacks class.

Well said. There’s very much a holier-than-thou attitude that appears on here too often. Too much condescension here of other sources of information, and of regular folks sharing their opinions/ thoughts. Live and let live.

Imo the flack that he gets is how he goes about it. Tottenham message board ITK is an institution that's been going on for years and years and years. Spurs fans with an inside track sharing it with other fans dedicated enough to spend their free hours reading and talking about Spurs. No status or clout involved. Just fans helping fans out.

I can believe that he just shares in good faith, but the choice of medium is where I see the issue as it comes off as clout chasing, because it's Twitter, not just Spurs info for Spurs fans. He doesn't need to verify anything, like the actual journos in the Whatsapp group he's in, and he doesn't just share to Spurs, it's just all on Twitter and gets hawked by miserable aggregators.

If he just wants to get the word out, post on the forums imo.

Will always trust ITK more from a source that has nothing to gain from it, which is why the forum ITKs and the likes of JJ will always be the best source for me if I want to believe in something.

Anyway, I do hope we get some movement with Raya this week, whether that's someone forcing our hand or just Brentford wanting to know what they've got coming in for the window. Doesn't serve them too well to actually drag it out very long, inevitable as it is that he's going. You'd want to know for how much.

Which makes sense as long as you believe that all ITKs actually get genuine inside information. That's how most of us found SC and why most stayed here: those purporting to be ITK went through a verification process and have good track records. For me, I only trust certain ITKs from elsewhere, and only then after seeing their hit rate over time. Far too many chancers out there, on Twitter or elsewhere, that just want that sweet Internet cred..

I think people may have a bit of a bee in their bonnet from the times POK, Gards and the guy who runs the Spurs ITK hub have made fun of SC, Trix and Hercules. Those 3 have no problems hating on our lot so maybe some on here are defensive?

I feel like all of it should be taken as just a bit of light entertainment and not much more than that. People get way too stressed about all of it. It’s just fun hearing general rumours, at the least you can get a rough idea of what the club is trying to achieve

However, if it turns out we have lost him because Danny was screwing around again… then I hold no hope for Ange. Or any manager being successful. How can they under these conditions?

I would say fingers crossed, but I hit rock bottom at the end of this season when it comes to how the club is being run. Haven’t felt like this since the end of Scholar era.
