Would've liked De ligt too, just loaned straight back to them.
Vertongen reincarnated
Think he'll end up at Real Madrid. His reading of the game is absolutely unreal, and only 17.

Great shout. No idea if that was the case or if in the course of scouting veltman we changed targets, but either way, the appearance may suggest a bit of under cover scouting. So all the links for veltman earlier in the window were a smokescreen for this guy then in the end?
Overmars says not done; don't get excited yet
we should break his leg at the medical, then he'll fail his Chelsea one!
Said it before. Those who remember Paul McGrath. He is very similar.
More click bait. Nothing suggests that an agreement hasn't been reached, just that our formal bid has not been formally accepted yet. We don't know when it was sent over but a non-response now means nothing. It's almost midnight in London. They will respond formally tomorrow morning. To slow our roll a little bit just in case Di Marzio is claiming Spurs have not officially received a response from Ajax for our latest bid.

Seems to imply their acceptance is likely and could come tomorrow.
(Note both an agreed fee and not a formally acceptesd bid can be true at once but I don't want us all to wake expecting an announcement first thing when that might not happen until later or the next day)

Thats true! Toby plays rb for belgiumWell, I'd say he has pretty similar attributes to Vertonghen, who can also play LB (although he doesn't really want to).
I believe Toby may have also been used at RB in his career. Dier too, obviously.
There seems to be a pattern of us going for these type of guys, and I think it's a sensible pattern.
Imagine a tough away game, and we have:
Sanchez Alder Dier Verts
As our back four. That's pretty dam impressive and feckin powerful!
Hope we don't regret doing a double deal for Davinson and Klassen.
For all of who are wondering this is why he did that ridiculous jig
And I say fair play to that if he can consistently score goals like that he can celebrate anyway he wants to
Not for the first time, Merson struggles with Colombian import
