He is not slow but I'm not sure playing a wing back system with trippier and Davies is going to be as effective as it was with walker and rose last season
I agree. In an attacking sense they won't be able to get in behind as effectively. In a defensive sense they don't have the same recovery pace, making us more vulnerable to counter attacks and long balls over the top.

Bringing in Sanchez would solve the latter issue, and that fact combined with the fee being mooted makes me wonder whether we may not be looking to sign a right back.

You don't need pace to get in behind, Trippier's delivery is absolutely fantastic and he is far from slow, neither is KWP.

His performance today might make Poch rethink his comments about him not being ready.

Good news. Let's hope we get him signed up. I really wasn't expecting a centre back to be our first signing though.
