Well it's not too far from home and I'm sure many in Holland will speak German. Maybe he speaks a bit of Dutch too. It wouldn't be too difficult to communicate over there. Although I'm not sure what it's like culturally between the 2 but can't be more a change than what England would be. Luckily he had Son to help him out early on. Plus Amsterdam is a big city like London.

The problem is LIverpool need a leader with experience, someone like Dijk. Sanchez won't tick the boxes for them as he is raw and more potential based. He isn't going to slot into the centre of Liverpools defence and they become water tight.

Whereas for us, he'd be perfect as we already have two experienced players and a settled defence in Verts and Toby.

It may have something to do with every other club in the PL making a signing since the window opened three months ago, and we haven't. SG is something like the 6th player Koeman has signed. It's not like we're trying to sign Neymar - and even PSG completed that deal in less time than it's taken us to do anything at all.
