Surely the latest rumours of other teams being in for Sanchez are just Ajax trying to drive the price up a bit. We all know that Levy will try to get the best possible price, and thus maybe our transfers drag on longer than what most other clubs would be able to stomach. But all in all I do think he will get this one over the line. It's never nice when you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I personally feel that this will make it over the line. Sanchez wants us (supposedly), and we want him.

The lack of ambition to improve further and actually try and win things is something I refuse to accept and get used to.
I'll always support the club and I strongly support this manager but the chairman....
The chairman what....? Had overseen the building of the best training facility around. Is overseeing the building of one f the best stadiums In Europe. Has supported the manager and worked with the manager in balancing the books and signing players that had kept us competitive In this league for the last few years whilst maintains a stable financial structure. I don't know about you but I remember the scholar days, the sugar days where if we ever qualified for Europe in any competition it was a major achievement. Anything less than champions league and we are disappointed. I think these are all valid reasons for supporting the chairman. See what a happened to Leeds, Pompey for a start! Easily done, Leeds were competitive for years but always fell short, their chairman decided to take a gamble and it didn't pay off! I would rather not take a gamble! If the money does all go tits up several clubs will be in dier shit! Also
I would rather see all the players paid similar amounts like we do as opposed to 1 or 2 on mega money and the rest on peanuts. This creates a fairer environment. But all the wannabe chairmen/women/managers think buying a player is like buying a loaf of bread, pop to shop pay you £1 job done. All
Selling clubs will start overpriced prices (bad business if they didn't). Then the player has to want to come to the club, the players family has to want to move, the wages have to be agreed, image rights, individual sponsorship and endorsements. Then club fee has to be agreed, instalment plan and bonuses etc! I am proud of spurs, how it is run, how we are up at the top against the odds and the business model we have. I like that poch invests in youth and players are spurs and from other clubs want to play for him!

Real Madrid and that 'special relationship', wonder if we will ever see a scenario where we don't get fucked over and actually gain a player or two..

Ajax were a shambles at the weekend, without Sanchez in their team, they might not even qualify for the group stages of Europa league. I'm not so sure we'll sign him until after qualification is either secured, or they fail to qualify. 1st leg is tonight, 2nd leg next Thursday, so maybe an announcement next Friday?

lets face it, if its a straight choice between us and Real Madrid I cannot see him at Tottenham

only thing to our advantage is that he'll get more time on the pitch, but players and agents don't think like that

The lack of bigger picture is incredible. How you can have anything but admiration for what he has done in the last, what, 15/16 years for our club is truly staggering. We just finished fucking second mate. Second. And we're being talked up as title contenders. I don't see how you can happily ignore the good and only focus on the bad.

He has already rejected moving to Barcelona to go to Ajax for that very reason.

Barcelona B. Their reserve team. Bit different to joining Real Madrid for £50m.
Still Barcelona to move on to the first team credit where its due.
I don't suppose we are as big a draw as Real Madrid but history will tell him that if he comes to us he wouldn't be ruling out a move to them in time, work with me here.

Davinson Sanchez to Real Madrid is really not 'a thing' in the Madrid media. Being pushed from the Dutch media, a little transparent.

The Dutch media just seem to be reporting what came from that one report on Blu radio in Colombia... if Madrid really were interested, surely it'd be in Marca (it isn't, yet)?

as has been said many times, marca is madrid's mouthpiece so always look to them for the current thinking. even though sport witness are usually full of shite this makes sense and appears to just be ajax trying to gee up levy into paying any current difference.
