Kaboul's mistake is not really his fault it's the fact Eriksen gets beaten so easily and Rose is standing in no-mans land.

Brilliant, had forgotten about that, I must have laughed for a good 2 hours afterwards at the time. Even funnier that it resulted in a goal kick for us lol

Those errors are actually DISGRACEFUL! All teams make 2-3 bad errors throughout the season. But with Spurs it's week after week! It's incredible that we're still 6th in the table. I was making this point earlier but I'll say it again. We could bring in Guardiola to manage Spurs. But if these players are making individual errors then what difference would it make? I hate to say it but LVG will also fail at Spurs if we don't upgrade our left back and possibly another quality CB who can play every game.

I've voted number (5) Naughton. I can't accept the ball bouncing over the players head.

Fun fact: Caulker has scored 5 goals this season, 3 more than the rest of our defenders combined (Chiriches and Walker have one each).

I think Fryers has been our least error-prone defender this season.

Fun Fact: Caulker is about to be relegated!

The first Naughton one against Southampton is perhaps the most pathetic.

He mis-read it so much that it looked like he was trying to head a ball from a different game.

But let's be honest...every entrant should be very proud of themselves.

It's so hard - the ones that have happened later in the season have annoyed me less as we've become more and more unhinged and the ramifications from such mistakes won't or haven't had any great say in where we're going to finish etc.

Whereas Lloris in the City game and Walker in the Man U match were key moments in big games which could have given a whole different complexion to life under AVB.

For out and out uselessness though the Walker back pass header from 40 yeards against Chelsea probably is the worst - also cos of the fact he tried to suggest with a shrug of his arms in the direction of Lloris that it was his fault!

What am i saying - they're all useless mistakes. No team should have more than a couple of these incidents a season and we've racked up all of these. Hilarious.

I'm not sure if remember every goal this season but those fuck ups all spring to mind immediately. I'll go Kaboul because above all else it was a great finish.
Reminds me of Paulinho's early this season

Genuinely frightening the quality of our defending this season. Like someone above said, it doesn't matter who the manager is or what formation/tactics you use. If your defence are brain dead fucks then what can you do? Simply inexcusable for a professional to do that.

That walker header is unreal.

Vertoghen's naughty outside of the foot throughball to Eto'o after a cheeky Cruyff turn gets my first vote
Second goes to Michael's Solskjaeresque impact play, showing us he's not just a danger when he runs at the ball and misses it but pretty lethal when he actually kicks it
A finally Walker's audacious header back to goal epitomising the danger that is when brains fart.

Looking at those videos reminds me of when we used to do the SC 5-a-side.

Albeit the defending at that was somewhat better.

All ten would make Djimi Traore, Titus Bramble and Frank Sinclair well-up with pride

Am I'm the only one who's surprised Jan is topping this poll? It was a mistake, yes, but once he'd slipped he only had a split second to dig it away from the Chelsea player. And the way he'd fallen it was a bit unlucky the way the ball ended up.

Anyway, I'm taking this too seriously :) Has to be Walker v Chelsea for sheer comedy value. WTF was he thinking!? Who did he think he was heading it to!?

Kaboul's one should be given to Vertonghen considering he should have cleared his lines. There wasn;t a lot Kaboul could have done after it deflected off Vertonghen.

I would give my vote to Vertonghen against Chelsea though because he managed to make the situation a lot worse for himself by desperately trying to hook the ball away. It fell perfectly for Eto'o in front of goal.
