Had an excellent game yesterday against Barca, and scored his first La Lego goal. We were linked in the window for a £9mill move, and on yesterday's performance I'd be pretty happy with that.

In other news, Ronaldinho is now officially shit, and Real are going to win the league by a stroll at this rate (woot! \o/ )

That's all.

Capel was excellent last night and Ronnie needs a move (AC) or Barca's new manager needs to get into his head.

Henry looks like a carthorse next to Messi. And an almost permanently injured carthorse at that... :)

Capel looks very promising. My only worry is that this is his first top-fllight season and he's very left-footed. Top defenders will work him out unless he can add extra elements to his game. But he's very direct, and he gets crosses in early. All in all, I'd probably rather have Capel than Downing.

But once Bale and Gilberto are fit, and with Steed, Lee, Gunter and even O'Hara (although I still think he's a CM) in the mix, our left flank is already looking pretty good.

Just watched the re-run of the game.

Yeah, Capel's not bad, I suppose....for a genius. Lovely player. 9m would be a snip.

From now onwards, any signings we make have to be currently better than our best player in the respective position. Maybe a bit too early to tell yet but by the next transfer window he could well fit the bill. What are the chances of Sevilla selling him to us at that price though?
