You can get the TVU player app but when I tried it, the picture was pretty bad and kept cutting out.

I have got sky but havent got the sports packages yet, guessing I wont be able to use the espn or sky apps without having the channels themselves?

isn't espn on the sky mobile app?

Yes, this would be the best way of doing it. The app is £6 a month and you get sky sport 1,2,3 and espn. I used it last season and it was always reliable. I now have a slingbox and stream it that way, either from my sky box in the UK, or my direcTV box in the US.

Good man. I made that mistake (long distance relationship) got to see my missus for one weekend in four months and she insisted I missed the spurs chelsea match last season. Bitch.

Do you need sky to use the sky app or can you subscribe to that as a standalone thing? How bad is the quality? might be worth it for £6.

get the sky app, subscribe and watch half a game as it crashes before the second half. Servers cant handle it apparently. not worth it untill they sort that out.
