Eriksen has a bit of excitement to his game, mainly anticipation that something will happen... but thus far not a lot of actual excitement.

Early season Townsend was exciting, but after watching 50 shots fly past the post you realise its not worth getting excited, unless you are a fan sitting beind the goal with brittle bone disease.

That's just it, exciting on paper/screen, but in the flesh it hasn't roused the crowd that often. There is a difference between supporting your team, and actually being excited by your team - not sure the two are mutual. The crowd are there to give the team a lift when needed, as much as the players are there to lift the crowd. Its not just a Spurs thing, you often hear players being referred to as "one who can lift the crowd" - our players haven't really taken that responsibility. Adebayor's runs have done so, maybe it is a confidence thing with the rest of them.

I'm sure we've never seen that team on the pitch

When you look at the team that played Norwich, there wasn't one creative player out there. Eriksen(still young and learning), Holtby and Lamela being the only players I would call creative in our squad, and one of them has been loaned out. Basically there is a lack of creativity in our squad, which needs to be addressed in the Summer.

None of them really at the moment. Townsend in full flow is good as is Walker, but I don't think there are many players in the whole league who would excite me - six or seven at best. Suarez tops that list.

Townsend excites me, really gets the adrenaline flowing when i'm shouting at him for being a complete moron who can never spot Soldado/Ade/Anyone moving into space, looking for him to deliver a through ball

I have always had a favourite player be it Lineker/Sheringham/Klinsmann/Waddle/Hoddle etc, but probably I havn't since Van Der Vaart left, the only player who does excite me is Lamela, but more because I want to see him finally burst into the limelight.

It's hard to get excited by this team at the moment. There are individual moments that certain players provide that excite me, rather than their overall game. Bale, Modric and VDV were all players I loved watching whenever they were involved in play in recent years. At the moment we have nobody like that, but we do have players who do it in fits and starts.

Eriksen has something about him, a little touch of quality. He drifts in and out of the play and knows what's going on around him. Soldado has some lovely touches and passes, makes some good runs, but just can't finish for shit at the moment. Adebayor when he's on his game, chasing down the ball and making a nuisance of himself. Sandro whenever he's fit, an absolutely fantastic tackler of the ball. Lloris' off-the-line rushes when they work and his fingertip saves. The way Dembele turns players inside out, but unfortunately, like so many of our players, has no end product.

There's moments here and there but never an individual who can consistently produce the goods.

Lamela's dribble before the penalty in the Europa League was pretty much the only time I've been off my couch all season.

Oh yeah and when Holtby did that Cruyff turn. That was rad.

None for me.

I think with the right setup Paulinho and Lamela could excite. I think it was against Stoke that Paulinho suddenly came out with a bunch of great flicks and touches.

No getting off my seat moments for me right now.

Lloris, Ade, Lamela, Eriksen and Paulinho at times

Yeah this. All of them have produced moments of magic this season, but those moments are so few and far between. They're exciting at the time, but there's no sense of anticipation when any of the outfield players have the ball (apart from Paulinho at Stoke before he got Adam'd).
