You're right but Lennon IS exciting and can beat a player and will learn to get that killer pass/cross. Downing to me just doesn't have that ability

For Christ's sake. We wanted to buy him about 18 months ago and he decided he didn't want to move away from home. We then looked to buy him in January and that fell through too. Let him stay where he is - we should MOVE ON.

We wont sign him in the near future so a complete moot point. He was not worth the money boro wanted for him. Hes decent enough but wouldn't be my first choice. Steeds done a great job lets just wait and see who is available for a decent price eh? don't forget Bale will be back as well and may be employed as a LM by Ramos.......
