I thought City where going for Isco? Do they really need Isco, Bernard, Navas plus Nasi, Silver, Milner etc...

Hopefully not, Nasri has been linked with a move away but who knows if Pellegrini (sp) wants him or not

I would love for us to snap up a player of this ilk this summer to show Bale we are serious about winning the league next year as with Fergie going, City and Chelsea rebuilding, we have a real opportunity if we buy smartly

And, the other thing too is that we need to start buying young talents that can have a ton of potential to eventually replace Bale. Looking over our squad/roster, we don't really have any one that screams to me a future huge talent (apart from Bale, but he's currently a huge talent). We need to start boasting not just the current talent level, but the future talent level as well.

As Jesus Navas, the guy who practically has a nervous breakdown every time he sets foot outside Seville?

As I've said in this thread, he said to ESPN he wants to try a different League. Playing for Pellegrini at City would be, in his own words: "like a dream."

haha....he vomits getting on a plane...good move!!!

People vomit on planes due to a number of reasons; people vomit travelling by road because of travel sickness. It doesn't mean they can't cope with leaving their own house. He was in the last two squads for Spain in the big tournaments and while he has turned down big moves in the past (homesickness? who knows), he now wants to move.

Yeah, I know he has a history of homesickness, but therapy, family desires, etc. can all change that.

I'm actually hoping that he does go to Man City. He's capable of running past defenders but he's not that good, and if it might deter City from landing Bernard (Because they are probably getting Isco, too) then I'm all for it. I stated this previously, but he's like Aaron Lennon. Fine little player who can do some special things, but on the whole might leave a little left to be desired.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

looks good, it does seem strange we are hearing leaks about players especially young ones, maybe its a ploy by the club to throw othe clubs off a little, dont want chelsea slapping down 25 million again and gazumping us

Brilliant little player, the kind we should target but due to greedy agents, wankers like City & Chavski, flush with money pay double what they're worth and over inflate the market. Shame.
LITTLE is the key word here -- he's like 5'4" -- that's a bit diminutive for the Prem is it not? Hope he's not too ight weight if he does come to the Lane... :watching:

Transfermarkt has him at 1.68. That's 5'6, so taller than AL
