Marcus Edwards has joined Dutch Eredivisie side S.B.V. Excelsior on loan until the end of the season.

I like this a lot, this is very much last chance saloon for Edwards I think, it's a good loan because it totally gets him out of his comfort zone, he'll have to learn new responsibilities, life skills, a new culture and habits.

If the problems have been overall maturity, making right choices etc., then a spell abroad could be a great way for him to develop. Hoping this is part of turning youth potential into a top player. It would be great to see him emerge as the best thing since Harry Kane
