If our path towards 'blue' has been has ineviatable as POTL's constant suggestions then why did Ade ask for permission to go and see his Madrid friends when they came to Leicster at the weekend?

He clearly still hopes and believes he'll get a move back to Madrid. Not to mention the fact that we can't afford his wages and I see no good reason why City would want to do us a favour by picking up the other we can't afford.

My gut feeling says it's not Adebayor, I don't know why.

Adebayor has always been the striker I've wanted the most, would be brilliant. The fact that POTL seems to think it will be a loan makes me further think it is Bayor.

I think in itk that the 'and' meant it was two players.

I originally thought it was 2 players of which blue and yellow applied to both but not it seems the blue and yellow are separate.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see him at Spurs, but what if he has a blinder for the season and helps to put us up there in contention with Citeh. Would they not then make him return, flat refuse to loan or sell him to us, then leave us as we are now, looking for a top flight striker once more?

Maybe it's just my suspicious nature but i can't help but feel this may be a headache for us down the road.

I have raised a similar point in the past. I guess though, it is down to what agreement we reach with Man City. Hopefully Levy arranges it so they will have to sell to us at an agreed price.

I would assume it would be an initial loan with option to buy for an agreed price before an agreed date ala O'Hara.
