Truly assessment is being made from my end, was so excited to be a season ticket holder. Went to games last season, not been to a single this season. Gladly taken the refunds but as the season is progressing, I am losing something in me, probably the excitement is disappearing, the competition for success is fearsome this time around. Our squad seem to be stale, and all the talk of poch to united is just not worth my energy, effort like previous seasons.I think this is a similar thought process to a lot of supporters around the 40-60 age group
Thousands have given up with Wembley and will reassess their priorities and love of Tottenham/Football once we move into the new ground
For many of us this upheaval has meant being away from WHL for the longest time in our memory and it’s been a really weird time for us
If you’ve been going week in week out somewhere for 10/20/30/40 years + this type of enforced absence makes you question things
Add that to the fact that the game and everything around it is now a million miles away from where it was when we first started going and that only makes the thought process even more challenging
If this new ground is as amazing as we all hope and the atmosphere created by US is instantaneously fantastic then all us old/oldish/ancient gits might fall in love with our beautiful game all over again
Maybe being in a new stadium might change things but who knows.
