Defoe wasn't too badly injured. Harry just used that as an excuse to bring Pav on. He wants to try and keep all strikers happy. Little knock to Defoe, bring Pav on for a bit of game time. Defoe could have probably continued imo.

A bit surprised that thudd was'nt given a call up. Cappello apparently rates him and the freindly would have given him a chance for a closer look.
