God Robben's so awesome. Scares me to think that Man City may sniff around him in the summer.

I thought yellow cards were turned off after all the shit De Jong hasn't been booked for.

Hopefully just a precaution in case it's a neck/back problem.

On a footballing level, what a cross from Kuyt. He's such an underrated player.

BC, is that you?!

He is underrated and I wish Bale could incorporate his work rate and team ethic into his play.

On a separate note, I wonder if losing a game like this helps Harry in thinking that there is a gulf with the top teams in International football or whether England losing will prompt a quick response from the FA and will be banging on Levy's door very shortly.

To be fair to him he's been out of position since Gerrard went off.

Our passing is appalling.

Im not sure he is, didnt he play centrally plenty of times for Villa? I dont think he has set the world alight for Utd, but Im more going on what I have seen of him tonight, keeps giving it away and looks weak and easily shrugged off the ball.

He largely played wide for Villa and his goal/assists ratio there was fantastic. At United he was excellent and then got injured so don't think we can judge him too much.

In terms of wide forwards England really has a wealth of talent at the moment. If we can get a Wilshere or a Cleverley in the middle to actually get hold of a game (and get Rooney upfront) then this team will be okay. Not world beating but okay.

Frazier Campbell...sigh...

I remember when there was Shearer, Sheringham, Fowler, Le Tissier, Wright and Ferdinand to choose from.

Decent game for England, a few decent chances, quite alot of good attacking movement. no end product thou, i just don't think Welbeck and Campbell are good enough.

anyway i wonder if this will be end of Stuart Pearce's chances of managing england. he did take a risk, england did play well in the first half, but they just didn't control the game, at that's something u need to do when u are the home side.

Dunno what Cahill was doing up there

Offside though, could do with getting decisions like that when it matters and not in friendlies!

Im not sure Sturridge has done enough to be MotM, but saying that I cant think of anyone who really deserves the award.
