Not sure if it's going to be all that easy for England tomorrow. 2 wickets and they're into the bowlers.

Shite day all round. Inexcusable batting performance on that wicket.

Only positive i can see from losing this test is that we can drop the lucky charm that is Tim Bresnan.

He's not quite a bowler not quite a batsman, must be a great all-rounder?

Finn should be ahead of him all day.

Dont think it will be much different in Leeds either.

Finn maybe - but if we cannot bat it will count for nothing.

Other than Bell we look inept and if I hear "the run machine that is Cook" again I'll scream. Run machines = Amla, Kallis and Smith. That before we get to A.B. de Villiers for god sake

The bloke that should be dropped is Bopara

He really is useless at test cricket - the new Mark Ramprakash

The thing is our batsman (for the most part) contributed to their own dismissals with poor shots/shot selection.

We have been so much better than everyone recently perhaps it's a case of thinking it was easy?

Hopefully their minds will be fully focused now otherwise we can say goodbye to the no. 1 slot.

Finn in for Bresnan, you cant leave out your quickest bowler, especially when he is good.

Bopara is a ****. Always has been. Always will be. Technique and mindset no good for test cricket, get him as far away from the Xl as possible.

As for his 'bowling', I'd love to face him on a flat one!

Wouldn't mind seeing Morgan back in place of Ravi, but usually when the selectors have made a decision to bring a player back they don't like to admit they were wrong until after a few tests...

Well if we lose Bresnan for Finn we need a proper solid batsman to come in for Bopara, because Bresnan can at least add some runs to the cause, Finn is another Anderson - an absolute write off in the run scoring column.

Morgan, Bairstow and Bopara have all been failed experiments. Who can step in? where is the batting depth at Test level?

Morgan is the better player out of those 3 by a country mile. I would give Robin Smith another go, he was discarded far too early from Test cricket.

Well well bet KP did not see that coming.

KP is a much troubled soul. Great batsman with poor character.

Would agree about KP, he's also been poorly advised as well by those close to him. You've only got to read the shit that Piers Morgan comes out with on twitter about the whole thing to see he's been speaking to wrong crowd.
