Amazing how under the radar this has all gone considering it’s been going on for a decade or more. Some unbelievably dodgy stories associated with this whole episode.
It's under the radar for a number of posters who choose to ignore the devious JL and his shenanigans because he doesn't execute people.
If this was the Saudis or RA they would be all over them going on about dodgy dealings etc very hypercritical.

Tbf he didn’t behead 80+ people over a weekend or fund world war 3. He closed a road to a lake. I mean it’s a bit dodgy yeah but not quite on the scale of those you mentioned. Well for at least what we know.

Financials will be very interesting for this season. Match day will be almost at full potential had the little drop off with Omicron when got 45k for a few games although most of those tickets would have been sold. European money will be weak with it being The Confrence and only a few games. If they stick the extra events into commercial that figure will be interesting with AJ fight, not sure if guns roses/GaGa will go into this season or next but our commercial figures could be huge. Be interesting if we beat CL final season £460m with still hopefully CL and more events to add on top next season. If we do get CL for 22/23 we could well break £500m

On another note levy gets slated a lot but deserves big credit for acting swiftly to correct the Nuno disaster and appoint Conte. Let’s just hope he follows through now and backs him to the Maximum.

The results will be very interesting. The headlines will all be about match day revenue and just how much more the stadium generates through food and beverages, and the value of getting fans in earlier and staying longer. I'd love to know what the average spend is on here for those that attend week in week out.

The CL final season though, we had good revenue through Wembley and the new stadium, plus also earned £90M from the CL run, so doubt we'll be anywhere near that season.

TBF to levy, he's kept out of the spotlight this season, and not interfered with the football. He was getting too carried away by our success, doing his Amazon series and what not.

Bit like West Ham, and how their owners were constantly embarrassing them. They've learned to keep a low profile and they're slowly improving on the pitch.

Hopefully over the summer he'll do the same and let Fabio and Toni just get on with it.

Why?

He said if he bought Chelsea he’d have kept on with running the club the same way as Abramovich
Jim would turn us into another of his late life crisis, sportwashing toys. Ineos stadium, Ineos sponsors... we would be used as a tax write off and left to muddle along, same as with OGC NIce and Lausanne, his other clubs. The complaints people have about Levy, ENIC and Lewis would be ten-fold. Lewis stopped access to a lake? Ratcliffe bought an entire chunk of Iceland just so no one else can go fishing there.

The guy couldn't give a monkeys about football. He only wanted Chelsea because Ineos is based in Knightsbridge and thinks that means he should own it.

Trust me, ENIC are much better owners than Ineos.

Ok fair enough. He does have that look of a man you wouldn't trust.

Levy mentions significant investment in the squad … his version and fans version of significant are very different
Are they?
Levy acted quickly to address the Mourinho and Nuno issues by bringing in Conte, and giving FP sufficient funds to bring in some pretty decent players (immediately criticised by many on here as useless). Those actions have got us to a point where we have at least some chance of CL football next year. Why would he then decide not to back Conte fully? How about waiting a while and seeing what transpires before criticising him? I'm hoping that we qualify for the CL and that with appropriate purchases establish us a a top four team playing exciting football and think that a better stance than being negative, even if only for my outlook on life!
COYS!!!!
