But will he be able to handle a&c making dwarf jokes about him?
Levy hasnt let heightism get to him so I am sure in my case it will be like water off a swan's neck. I won't take it lying down that's for sure.

Our owners rightly get praised when they spend vast money on our infrastructure but what about the money spent on the 1st team squad
More specifically those 2 transfer windows in succession when we didn’t spend a penny
Poch carries the can and can be an amazing diplomat but I have no doubt that our current problems are caused from those higher up without the same vision and plan as our manager
Bruh they're not spending thier own money. The money comes from loans, player sales, tv rights etc. They have spent like 13 millions of their own money if i remember correctly. Also Levy is the highest paid chairman in the pl.So the stadium and training ground were a mistake? Losing due to a lack of investment wouldn't result in getting beaten 2-7, especially when you look at the squad and the game.

Actually, that’s exactly the time sugar daddy’s buy clubs. Look at Chelsea, Rom got them much cheaper than he would have been able to get us because they were in financial mess. Abu Dhabi got City cheap and with a brand new stadium gifted to them by the city of Manchester. They are an investment company and have improved us MASSIVELY since they took over, they aren't a sugar daddy, they wont bank roll us I get it. But no sugar daddy would have bought us at the time when Sugar was selling cause we were 1, shite and 2, fucked financially. I am well aware of what ENIC are, but a lack of investment was not the reason for getting tanked last night, or the reason we got fucked over by a Division 2 side or why we have gave up games in winning situations.
And if it's true that Poch had specific lists of targets in those windows and refused everyone else, is that the fault of Levy/ENIC as well? Our owners rightly get praised when they spend vast money on our infrastructure but what about the money spent on the 1st team squad

The massive problem is that anybody interested in buying us now will want to do it for a business investment. No sugar daddy is gonna put £1bn in to buy us and then another £500m to beef up the squad and wages.
No, I’m just refuting the poster I was replying to’s idea that sugar daddys look for financially thriving clubs. There were no sugar daddies buying back in 2001 though? Surely your not suggesting ENIC buying us back then was a bad thing?

No, Abramovich changed the landscape in many ways. And maybe if ENIC had not been around and we’d scraped by with Sugar for a few more years then he may have looked at us more seriously. It’s all sliding doors stuff. The previous poster was me, again there were no sugar daddies back in 01. We didn't really have the time to be picky with who took over, we were fucked. If it was now, we would be snapped up, so I concur with your suggestion, just poor timing by us to be at the wrong place at the wrong time..... Spursy.

If Poch gave ENIC a list of players in 2 consecutive transfer windows and we didn’t get any of them (if they were available, which I’m presuming they would have been) then that is ENIC's fault
If Poch only wants players 100% committed to his/the plan and knows several players aren’t and wants them out and is not backed - then that is ENIC's fault
If several key players have been allowed to wind their contracts down to the final season - then that is ENIC's fault
If you do not back your manager 100% because it will cost too much and things start to go tits up - then you have to take a huge amount of responsibility for that
So everything is linked and ultimately has a cause and effect with the 1st team squad, in the dressing room and on the pitch and it all basically comes down to options within the squad and investment
Why is Toby still at the club?
Why is Eriksen still at the club?
Why is Wanyama still at the club?
How was Nkoudou taking up a squad number for so long?
There are even more questions and I hold the board responsible for those issues, not the manager
Toby and Eriksen are their because they want to go on a free, there was a lack of transfers because we built a new stadium. The stadium was needed there is no two ways about it.
We aren't a top tier team, we don't have the same global fanbase or reasources (cash) as other top clubs, you either accept that or you don't everyone is entitled to your opinion however.
I agree with a lot of that but you said a lack of investment had nothing to do with last nights result or others this season - that is incorrect
Toby has a £25m buyout clause so the club could not have stopped him leaving. Why is Toby still at the club?
