ENIC are going absolutely nowhere anytime soon.

We’re only at phase two of the Northumberland Development Project and they’ve now rode out the Covid storm. They’ll expect to reap the benefits of the stadium being fully functional before they even consider selling. They’d also expect close to £3b when all the infrastructure is in place, including the hotel and the medical centre which won’t be ready for years. That’ll leave a considerable hole in any serious buyer’s pocket before they’ve even set foot in the door.

Joe Lewis won’t give a fuck about the negative press the club has received. To him, we’re just a money-making machine. He hasn’t put a penny into this club since the day he took over. We’ve had to operate within our means even when the club’s future was in doubt. He’s sitting on billions and billions of pounds and he’s watched us take out a £125m loan just to survive. Let that sink in for a minute. The man is a cancer on this football club.

And that’s why I have a shred of sympathy for Levy. A tiny shred. I think he’d be brilliant if he had the likes of City, Chelsea and United’s budget. He doesn’t help himself, though. His notorious tightness has seen us miss out on players who have gone on to be stars, and the recruitment team that he is ultimately responsible are not fit for purpose.

And then there’s our squad. Our weak, fragile squad. We have a loser mentality deeply ingrained into this squad that isn’t going to go without a complete overhaul. The issues I’ve described above suggest that won’t happen anytime soon.

Basically, this club is just one giant shit sandwich. Good luck to the poor **** who is tasked with getting a tune out of them next.

Its almost like Enic pay people to post on forums to tell them its raining as they piss on them.

The facts are Enic haven't spent a single penny of their own money on Spurs since the initial 20m outlay. Levys wages alone have has at least twice that back.

We have become a joke of a club under them. A literal laughing stock that even Norwich fans can snigger at.

Bar Harry Kane being born a yid they have achieved nothing.

Let me borrow 500m and I will provide a stadium. And it won't have a joke of American football that put the build back 2 years and cost an extra 359 million to boot.

Every big call levy has made is wrong. That's actual hindsight. He is a Jonah.

A bald midget that fucks things up at every turn.

Leave the stadium empty till these fools get the message. It's the only way.
so everything what happened in last 20 years is just luck? :ROFLMAO:

So our growth over the past two decades was inevitable? I don’t share that view. I think we’ve had great leadership and would have had even greater rewards were it not for City and Chelsea being pumped full of cash.

How do you define growth? If you are talking about financial success and property assets then yes we have done incredibly well. If you are talking about success on the pitch, not so much. Every time we have been close and needed that final push in terms of investment it has not been forthcoming.

You’ve made two decades of mistakes too mate so I don’t really understand ?

How can you look at the club now and when they took over and not appreciate the massive growth we’ve seen. We played a champions league final not long ago but everyone is acting like we’ve gone back to 1997

What growth?

A natural curve?

We have just caught up with Arsenal in terms of a modern stadium.

You forget he genuinely wanted to move us into west hams ground?

I'm not making stuff up. Enic have been a disaster in any barometer of a rich club.

We haven't won anything of note under them. Enjoy the stadium. You will have a lot of space even when social distancing ends.

Their time is up. No right minded spurs fan will shell out a penny to these clowns.

They have made spurs the brand a laughing stock.

We'll never win anything under them because as @Archibald&Crooks rightly points out the message from the top is not to win.

It's not the main objective.

I'm so tired of them.

Wow. I guess you must be angry after that loss.

Every time ? You mean once since they’ve been in charge?

I think we have been increasingly successful on the pitch. League positions trending up over 20 years, European participation trending up, cup semis trending up. It’s been slow but it’s there.

That’s pretty insulting to the tens of thousands of loyal season ticket holders. Let’s leave it there. But can see you’re angry.

Under Jol, under Redknapp, under Poch. Every single time. Fraser Campbell for Berbatov; Nelson & Saha when we were challenging for the title. Spending countless years investing zero in the squad. I could go on.

Lol. This isn't me angry. I'm done being angry at spurs and Enic. I will spend as much emotion on them as I will hard cash.

None.

You seem a paid shill who hasn't a clue what he is talking about.

Levy and Hitchen are going to relegate us when we sell Kane and Son. State of their signings.

Possible exaggeration (although I'm not sure about this) but anyone who is defending Levy and ENIC needs to have a cold hard look at the state of this squad particularly if you take Kane out (who we lucked out on let's be honest).

This squad minus Kane = midtable at best, don't care who the manager is (and don't trust Levy to choose him)

Levy came to Paris on a jolly to see Poch and signed me up on a 4 year deal. I’ll be on here every Sunday evening telling you how great our bald little leader is ❤

Fucking hell paris....you really don’t get it do you...of course they’re angry and they have every right to be.. this whole club reeks of mediocrity...and has done for ages...yes we have one of the finest stadiums in the world but it means jack shit if the teams not worthy..one the greatest players in my lifetime..and I’ve had the privilege of seeing quite a few, is probably going to leave this club with fuck all.....and that is an absolute crime....if I didn’t love this club I’d be laughing...just like my Chelsea, West Ham, arsenal, and...wait for it .......QPR mates are....

Fucking embarrassing from our owners today

Decide to bring in Jose to win us some silverware after THIRTEEN YEARS. Sack him a week before a fucking cup final and place a lost little boy in charge

Couldn’t make this shit up!

Yes. I mean it.

Because every single time we get into a great position to push on, Levy and co put the breaks on and worry more about overspending then getting the players in to do the business. Everytime it ends up costing us more.

The latest example was not pushing out to get Skriniar. Evidently clear Jose wanted a big CB to give him the platform, so we get involved in negotiations, Inter show they are happy to sell, we get all the way down the line but decide spending an extra 10m or so is too much.

I'm not saying getting Skriniar would have guaranteed top 4, but it would have boosted our chances and at the end of the day you got Jose in cause you want to win, so you know you need to spend a bit.

Yet, Levy passed him off a 23 year old Championship defender who will come good I'm sure, and expected to see the same results.

He hampers coaches by not pushing out to get them exactly what they need but doesn't lower expectations. And when they can't achieve the unrealistic objective, to keep the CL money rolling in, he dumps them.

Spot on. Football fans are always impatient but I’m proud of our owners and we’re moving in the right direction.

I know that’s not fashionable in the dark recesses of the internet and I’ll be negged again but it’s true.
Genuine question out of curiosity, what are you proud of them for?

I’m proud of them for growing the club in an organic way. Someone in here criticised the club for living within its means. I am proud of them for that. There is something purer about that success.

I think results are moving in the right direction over the medium to long term. But like Obama so wisely said, change is not linear. It’s probably sinusoïdal. We’re in a relative dip and Boone is happy about that but I believe we will recover more strongly than ever.

I get that a lot of this is personality. For a Frenchman I can have very cold blood. I guess it’s because I’m so rational. I get more pleasure from putting €10 in long term investments than I do spending it on fun. But that’s just me.
