you can read the entire article here, but who would you want? i personally would take

hoilett for wing cover(although i'm not sold about him being on the right)
and kevin davies or andy johnson as a third choice striker.

Jussi Jaaskelainen/Tim Howard if we failed to identify a young keeper/failed to offer Carlo or Gomes an extension.

Didier Drogba if we could get him on low wages (unlikely), I still feel he could do a job for us, I just think everyone at Chelsea is having a bad time, which is good for us!

Junior Hoilett, we should be all over him NOW, offer them a similar deal we did with Everton and Pienaar, a few million to bring him in now. I think he would be a great squad player to have.

Ashley Richards is a young right back who's done well for Swansea recently. Not that we need another right back.

Defoe broke his arm. He came back and broke it again. Then he did his Anterior Cruciate Ligament. due back in a few months.

Could be a decent signing if he stays fit.

Doubt we'd meet Drogba's demands, but for a year at least he'd be great.

Rodallega if he sorted his attitude out as a 2nd/3rd striker could be a great bit of business. Also heard lots of good things about Diame but we're well stocked in that position.

Poor Ferrie Bodde. Before his injuries he looked like some boy, could have defo gone up a level

I think that Arshavin would be a decent option; he's looked useless at times, but with a solid midfield around him, I think he could be amazing. Cahill too, but he'll be sold in Jan.

Other than that, there are some real wild cards in there: Drogba and Malouda could be exceptional, and there are also a few ageing keepers that could do the job.

All in all though, I think the only one that has the potential to instantly improve the first team is Drogba.
