I'd like Ramsey to get a chance.....just have a hunch that if QPR end up in the Championship (which looks likely) that Fernandes will go for a more "proven" manager over Ramsey.

That is of course if QPR's financial woes doesn't result in Fernandes selling them.....

They won't reward Ramsey if they go down, they'll probably go for someone jurassic like warnock

Does anyone know what happens if qpr get relegated? I vaguely remember they have to pay as massive fine or drop 5 leagues.

Very harsh first half scoreline to be fair. I feel sorry for Ramsey, he's got a couple of years of Redknapp's shit to unravel before he can even start to impose any kind of philosophy of his own. So much easier if your a Pullis/Allardyce type who go in and concentrate on bus-parking par excellence, or even a Sherwood who goes with the shit or bust mentality.

I think Ramsey probably has more clearly defined ideas about how he'd like to play, more of the AVB, Pochettino school of football I think, but we've seen how hard and how long it can take even with a decent side with some talent used to doing OK, with a struggling team short on confidence and talent he faces a tough task.

It was a slightly perplexing decision that Spurs took to release him when they sacked Sherwood. He is one of the best qualified coaches in the country I think, and I thought was very highly thought of by the club for the work he'd done with the development set up. I wonder whether he chose to leave, whether it was felt he was too close to Sherwood (though why that would be a problem I'm not sure) or whether it was felt after consulting John McDermott that he wasn't as good as the perception ?

I hope he's given time because I'd like to see how good a coach he really is.

I think the amount of money they owe the only way that it could be paid and have the team still be functional is if they stay up....if they go down and Fernandes has to pay off (or at least pay down) some of the debts i think it virtually ensures that they will not be able to invest in anything for at least a season (if not longer) and run the danger of becoming average or worse in the Championship....and if Fernandes does nothing at all i think they effectively end up on the verge of administration.

That's the second foul the ref has given the wrong way today with the person being fouled punished and a foul given against them...shocking stuff.

#AVFC subs (v @SunderlandAFC): Given, Gil, Sanchez, Kinsella, Weimann, Westwood, Hepburn-Murphy

16 year old academy striker. if only we had more forward-thinking managers like tim in the premier league who are aware of their responsibilities of bringing through and develping england's talented young players.

I have a hunch Sherwood had a fair bit to do with Ramsey leaving. I mean why not... Go with Sherwood and get a job second in command or stay with the youth Academy at Spurs. Nothing comes up for Tim so get a job with Harry instead.

It's a shame because he an extremely well qualified coach. He may end up being a terrible Manager and just a good coach in the end.

Hope West Brom spank Stoke. Can't stand Mark Hughes and I do like Pulis.

benteke off the mark and villa ahead again

I thought Sherwood would get Benteke scoring and that would be more than enough to help them pull away from the relegation fight

Do you consider Pochettino to be one of these managers?
