Unfortunately they seem more sensible than that and they’re reportedly interested in Rodon. Although admittedly he hasn’t been given a fair chance I’d sell him for a decent fee if Brighton want to spend some of their Ben White money.
Completely agree. I’d happily take 25mil (I think was the rumored number) for Rodon

And knowing our luck Rodon will turn out to be an absolute star, after we’ve sold him ala Foyth!
I really don't get these comments regarding Foyth. He's no better than he was when he was with us, he just suits the Spanish league slightly more because you don't get punished as fiercely for making mistakes.

Ledley always made the defenders around him so much better this is why it is so important to get Romero over the line.

Dier would be worth keeping then.

If we have the opportunity to move on Dier this window we should grab it with both arms and complete it pronto. Unfortunately ITK have recently said theres not much interest at all in him bar a derisory punt and feeble enquiry. Its best for us and him, and the change of scenery and fresh start might kick start something in him to find some form to rejuvenate his career in an upwards trajectory

I dont think Baresi, Cheillini or VVD could make him better unfortunately, time for him for a fresh start elsewhere and hopefully kick on his career

Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Erik Lamela have been my favourite players in recent years, so I for one really hope he stays. Even just for sentimental reasons

It's a pretty normal challenge, that all seems a bit petulant from Ndombele tbh especially in front of the fans. Don't rate Dier but how he's getting abuse on social media for just mistiming a challenge is beyond me.

I still can't forget that moment when he shouted at Tanganga because of the goal we've conceded after his own fucking fault.
And there was a moment in Amazon's documentary when he and Alli had some sort of clash in the dressing room. Alli was upset because of our terrible football and attitude while Dier was pissed off and was sitting there disagreeing with Dele.

I heard this quote from "Ted Lasso" series from Nathan (one of the main characters). Something like "you prefer to look cool/badass rather than being cool".
I don't rate Eric Dier's version from the last 3 seasons. And I don't want him anywhere near our club. He is not good enough. And his "premier league experience" and "fighter's attitude" don't make up for his terrible football. He is not a center back.
And I doubt that he can play as a DM nowadays

He wasn't that bad for the first 3rd of the season. Like a lot of our players, their confidence just evaporated over the course of the season

He's starting to reach Winks level of backwards trajectory but at age 27. Any time I see him in the starting lineup I get worried

He was poor in Poch’s last year - for the most part - following a lay-off; then was continually falling ill; then, I believe, Jose sapped his ( and numerous others) confidence. If we sold winks & sissoko I’d like to see him given an opportunity under Nuno’s coaching - if that doesn’t work, then sell him.

Ndombele is such a baby honestly, really don’t like players who go down so easily and are such snowflakes.

Talented boy but talent alone is not enough, his attitude is poor
