I always liked:

Arjen de Zeeuw its the way that you do it
Arjen de Zeeuw its the way that you do it
Arjen de Zeeuw its the way that you do it
And that's what gets results.

Could also change the last sentence (so it doesn't need to unnecessarily slow down) to
'He makes Ozil look like shite' (Same syllables as previous verse)

That is a classic:).

The funniest one I remember (even though its in pretty bad taste) was Hibs fans to Hearts manager Graham Rix :

"If you tolerate Rix, then your children will be next!".

Another one I remember was fans singing "he's got a pineapple on his head..... " to Jason Lee. Stupid but funny.

The improvised ones are always good. Liam Gallagher was in a box in the East Stand at WHL a few years ago giving it large and the Park Lane sung "you're just a shit Chas & Dave". He thought it was hilarious and applauded. That was just proper old fashoined football banter without the hostile shit that you often get.

I still think that the funniest chant was the one by Celtic fans to former Rangers keeper, Andy Goram, a few days after he had revealed that he had had therapy for schizophrenia....

"Two Andy Gorams, there's only two Andy Gorams, two Andy Gorams, there's only....."

I made a chant to this tune for Soldado when he joined, but it's never got going:

Sol-da-do do do he's our striker at the Lane
Sol-da-do do do came to Tottenham from Spain
With his left, with his right, he'll score goals all day and night
From the left, from the right, he makes Berbatov look shite.

Really hope the Eriksen version gets going!

Im baffled why...

Loving it, that will be used. When it comes to banter, though, nothing - nothing - beats Millwall when wham were relegated:
Renting a plane and flying it over Upton Park with the banner "Avram Grant: Millwall hero"

Still like the (not necessarily child friendly) Verts song we came up with at a spurs pub I visited somewhere (US?). Was to the superman theme ^^. Will see if I can find the recording somewhere.

To the tune of 'in your Newcastle slums'

He came here from Ajax, his dream is complete
He picks out the strikers with his magic feet
He's our Christian Jew.

Someone posted a good Lamela one to the tune of Lola, during the transfer window. I started singing it at the GlasgowSpurs meet for the NLD and it took off there. Reckon 1882 should be all over that one too

A mate of mine came up with a "He's Erik Lamela" song to the tune of The Specials' "Free Nelson Mandela".

It was pretty good. But I can't remember it.

I doubt it would ever catch on at The Lane which is a shame as it's bloody good.

I have already heard:

na na na na na na na Christian Eriksen, Eriksen, Christian Eriksen

So though that was his new song.

This one?

I met him in a pub next to white hart lane
So I walked up to him and asked him his name
He said Lamela
La la la Lamela
I wished him the best & said please don't fail
And he said 'chill, I got this' and 'fuck Gareth Bale
I'm Lamela'
La la la Lamela.

That was me but it was only a giggle, I wouldn't want any anti Bale stuff sung at the lane. If that wasn't the one you meant, do carry on!

One of the best chants I've ever heard; better hear it against blue scum. If any from here are going, get this ringing round the ground.
