im with Mauvey...a) he only got Jol as manager, as his 1st choise Santini did not work out, and b) he then got rid of Jol as his next first choice Ramos was in the picture...and where does that leave us?!

Ramos was the best manager we've had in a long, long time and only Jol came close to him in ability. He got dealt a bad hand this summer and things hadn't worked out.

Redknapp offers us nothing.

Our league form was atrocious. Shocking. If, say, Harry Redknapp, just as a wild hypothetical example, had been our manager during the last year, we would all want him out. Just because Ramos is spouting 'continental sophistication' it does not make him a good manager.

Also, Ramos has been a success at one club in his whole time in management. Sevilla. (obv)
