What's new

Erm...so Levy sacrifices yet another on the altar of his inadequacy.

I got to hand it to Levy - he sure acted decisively to save his skin. The first person he should have sacked is himself of course.

Make no mistake - we will avoid relegation now, maybe even reach the heights of top of the bottom table but AS LONG AS LEVY IS IN CHARGE WE WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING BUT ALSO RANS.

Because in order to reach that elusive TOP4 or dare I even say it win the Premiership you need world class players. And whenever we stumble upon one he will cash in on him within a couple of years. Under the well known excuses and protestations and propaganda now about heads turned etc.

Love the Harry appointment but I pray to god someone buys us with money and footballing not P&L swelling intentions.

Would you be so hypocritical as to slate the Jol lovers who wouldn't give Ramos a chance and then be the Ramos lover that won't give Harry a chance?

Yes.

It's suprisingly easy to do. Just reach into your guts and feel the visceral repulsion to that money hungry twat who hates us and you too will find it easy to refuse to give Redknapp a chance.

As for those who claim Redknapp has some sort of record that speaks for itself; what record is that exactly?

All those who go on about how he keeps clubs up need to remember that he failed to keep Southampton up and they were relegated. He then deserted them while they were down.

This thread is fucking old school SC.

Laz, BM, gtfo of here, this place belongs to the tweenies and the text-speakers now. This is like a Grey Dawn.

LOL.

It's just like the old days, just need to pull up my blanket and relight my pipe while supping on a wee dram beside the fireplace, swapping old war stories...

DWW? The crying guy with a penchant for apocryphal monotheism?

Didn't he die, whinging, by his own hand repeatedly?

That was one drawn out suicide note.

And Redknapp will take us where exactly? A future of glorious mediocrity and the foul stench of corruption and backhanders?

I don't think so.

Ramos was the best manager we've had in a long, long time and only Jol came close to him in ability. He got dealt a bad hand this summer and things hadn't worked out.

Redknapp offers us nothing.

Since Ramos has joined us, both teams have won a domestic cup. Redknapp's Portsmouth finished 3 places and 11 points ahead of us in the league. At the moment they are 11 points and 13 places ahead of us, and we are stranded at the bottom of the league unless we can somehow get 4 points from the Bolton game.

We will never know whether Ramos could have turned things around, but at least now we will see whether there was more that he could have done with our current crop of highly rated international players. After all, he won the FA cup with our castoffs, didn't he? Maybe he will do better with their replacements.

I have never been one to call for the sacking of a manager, but I can absolutely see why Ramos has been shown the door. We have been dreadful. Now Harry is here, no matter what I thought of him before, I will give him a chance and hope that he can turn this around for us.

Very brave decision from DL. To me, by far and away getting rid of Comolli is the best move. His record in the transfer market was frankly utterly appaling and I am surprised it sisn't happen sooner. He should have gone before MJ

Levi The Serial Scapegoater!

So, once again Levy, the serial scapegoater and sacker - the complete momser strikes again. He sacks the head entire coaching staff a year after he sacked the head coaching staff etc:!

Is the DoF position still there? I doubt it.

I hope sad Harry can save us, and has the power to make decisions.

See, I support Tottenham Hotspur FC not a particular CEO or specific manager:- things may come and things may go ....

But Levy has now after, just under, eight year had SEVEN, managers and had three DoF, a system Levy, the plonk, insistigated. It's not clear if that 'system' will continue.

Get behind the team, our beloved Club, but for fucks sake get rid of Levy!

I remember 'The Altar of Levy's Inadequancy' from the tour of White Hart Lane. It was along the corridor from the trophy room. Had big portraits of our ex-managers starting with George Graham, all with kitchen knives stuck in their faces. And a big phone with several ITKs on speed-dial. Oh, and The Best of Shakespeare's Sister playing on a stereo. Not sure why.

Anyway, without looking into it in too much detail, I'm pretty sure its Palestine's fault, and probably also Israel's.

We are the best run club in the premierhsip thanks to DL. Every sacking and appointment he has made has been for the best interests of the club. This time last year he appointed one of the top 3 coaches in Europe, and irrespective of our affections for Uncle Martin, this was a bold and ambitious move.

Now we're in the s*** and thanks to DL we have the money to wave under Pompey's nose to bail us out. We also have to solve the stadium problem, and I can't imagine a more talented individual to find that solutiion.

Just do me one favour, before suggesting the club lose anybody, please nominate a more capable and loyal replacement.

DL, for what it's worth I back you 100%

I was growing increasingly pissed off with Levy, but I have to applaud him for the quickness of this turn around, and also dont forget he has swallowed his pride and gone back on his detemination to inplement a Diector of Football system, reverted to a british system and put in place a man who will get the very best out of our players and in doing so keep us up.

I agree, if Levy is man enough to admit and learn from his mistakes and continue to work trying to help our club progress thenI will support him and Spurs to the full.

Let's get serious.

Juande Ramos's Blue & White Army

... is a lot more difficult to say than Harry Redknapp's Blue & White Army.

And that for me, is Levy's Clincher.

Unlike all those so called supporters that never gave Ramos a chance; I'll give Redknapp a go.

I won't hold on to my bitterness at the loss of Jol for Ramos for Redknapp.

Two great managers let go to be replaced by a provincial, corrupt West Ham reject.

But like my murphy's; I aint bitter & he aint heavy, he's my brother...
