Securing him and Orban would make me very happy and very excited about our future.

This is what quality scouting looks like!

I’m in the camp of signing a high quality, experienced replacement for Kane but if we’re not gonna do that, which we’re not, I hope we go all in on this kind of approach, rather than just kick a few tyres

I’m with you there. We could get them both for under 50 I reckon.

We’d be adding proper pace and threat up front - something we otherwise lack - and real potential.

This is the kind of thing we should be doing.

Feels like it’s early stage and might never go anywhere, but this would be really exciting

It would be very smart and feels so right, therefore we won’t do it 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm so much more positive for these moves than fawning over the likes of Felix and Fati for mega money who either have major red flags attached or just opportunistic deals with little regard to system fit thus likely leaving us in a position further down the line trying to palm them off with little success.

Young, hungry, exciting talent that's more malleable into being effective cogs in Ange's system - give me that all day, every day!

Found this thread on twitter. Sounds very promising. Hope we go for this one. Certainly passes the eye test. Seems exactly what we need.

Final comment I'll make talking about Nuamah tonight, as I feel like I'm probably bombarding the chat a bit due to my excitement.

But Nordsjaelland in recent years have been absolute machines in finding talent from Africa, and in particular 1v1 monsters. Obviously there's their most noted in Mohammed Kudus at Ajax who I'm sure everyone is aware of.

Then there's Kamaldeen Sulemana at Southampton who was super impressive in the back end of last season.

And then there's Simon Adingra who just scored at the weekend for Brighton and is poised to be their new 'breakout player from nowhere' this season.

But, purely in my opinion only, Nuamah has been the most impressive out of all of them when it comes to their time spent at Nordsjaelland.

@Archibald-CPH I believe is actually a season-ticket holder at the club, and so could provide a much better review of him than I ever could.
Mikkel Damsgaard and Mathias Jensen at Brentford, Lobotka, Victor Nelsson (who we already bought a couple times this summer) and Skov Olsen. Talent factory.

Honestly have absolutely no clue about him but this is about the most excited I’ve seen some posters since we were linked with Dybala, bodes well.

Would he be ready to compete with our starters?

What position does he play and what type of player is he?

As much as I like the players were linked to, there's not much evidence of anything more than a link and might stay that way until we've sold a good 2 or 3 players. At this rate, probably 2025 when this guy has been Smashing it at Ajax and worth 80mil.
It really seems we did our buying I readiness for Kane leaving and anything else is dependent on sales

He's probably the reason we are dragging the Orban deal out.

I would think it's one or the other. Our squad is too big to fit both especially with Gil being injured.

After seeing his highlights I think we could tempt him if we give him the naming rights to the stadium. Welcome to the Ernest Nuamah Stadium, home of the 2023/24 champions of the universe!

My mind is going crazy. We're actually behaving like a well functioning forward thinking club with an actually vision. Trying to unearth the next big thing, instead of chasing establish players who were never going to sign for us.

Too bad we didnt act like this when we had the best striker in the freakin world.

I'd cream my pants if we eventually morph into a 4141

with the front five looking like

Richarldson/Orban/
Son/Solomon Maddison/Bentacour Kulsevski/Bentacour Nuamah/Kulsevski
Bissouma/Skipp

A wonderful blend of pace, physicality and technical ability with a real amount of depth. Very exciting and side that can grow into a real contender.

That’s 12 mate, even that stupid ref from the Brentford game would notice that!
