He is a irish immigrant that moved to new york. he used to be a stadium announcer for gaelic football in new york. espn had no clue when they first started showing football in the 199o's. this bloke started ou on $100 game sitting in bristol conneticut announcing games for $100 each. as they have gotten more football I am shocked they havent got rid of him....

he is the worst. the bloke who do la liga and bundesliga on gol tv are even worse. the next time gol tv has a try out I am actually going to go I know more about football than these blokes

Was the guy co-commentating with Joe Royle not Jon Champion of ITV fame? I've always quite liked him to be honest.

As for Royle, lets just hope they were giving him a pre season friendly as a trial as the least he could do, in my opinion, is read the back of the program for the squad lists!!??!!

What was he talking about Re: king? I mean ffs, we can get 1 game a week from 1 of the best centre backs in the country but he thinks we are going to waste him at left back?? No wonder he is an unemployed washed up 'manager'.
