BC is very own Capoue scout, and his post above about EC having a dip in form last year was interesting.

Capoue absolutely fits the bill as someone who could play Sandro's role if The Beast is injured or needs a rest, and could also play in other CM positions. The AVB "small but versatile squad" thing.

CB might be a stretch on a regular basis, but rather EC at the centre of our defence than Livermore or the Hud.

Incredible turn of events Etienne Capoue. The @Pepite92 understands that Toulouse have accepted a €10m plus €2m bonus offer from Tottenham.

There were a few reports after the January window closed that we had nearly signed Capoue but it fell through when we couldn't shift Hudd. This could mean the rumours of his departure to Cardiff are true. I think its a good move, he can cover directly for Sandro which lets us shift Parker and Livermore, or play further up the pitch as a box-to-box, AND he's able to cover CB. A real defensive utility player is something we lack.
