Hasn't their manager said he's playing in a league game for them this weekend? I can't imagine we'll see him anywhere near our stadium/training ground until Monday at the earliest if that's the case.
No he said that at that moment capoue was still a tolouse player so was available for selection at the weekend. Since then it sounds like things have moved on in the transfer

But that could be like the Valencia chairman saying 'Soldado will travel with the squad to the US'

Or the 'mummy's leaving the supermarket, if you're not coming fine, here I go, I'm going, you're gonna be stuck here on your own' sales trick.

All footballfans who like good football want some French connection!

The French national side are hardly pulling up any trees at the moment are they?

I think I speak for most football fans when I say that I just like good footballers despite nationality, colour, race...

One of the few french league players I'd say suit our style of purchase. The exact kind of signing I've become accustomed to this window our squad needs depth and if one player can provide it for two positions we could get away with a "slim" squad for the season.

Tall, Strong built defensive midfielder that can double as a CB if cover is needed. If Livermore and Parker are off then he is perfect back-up for Sandro and he has a bit of creative ability too which is a bonus coupled with defensive work-rate.
Novel though it is, I do love having become accustomed to signings this window!

That being said, it should help him to settle that we have Lloris, Kaboul, French speakers like Benny and Ade, already at the club. Even if he already speaks good English, the ability to connect immediately with people from the culture he's familiar with will be comforting both on and off the pitch.

In a transit van heading to Calais knowing Levy.

No way. If he suffocates in the van like those a couple of years ago, there goes 10 million euros. Maybe Franco is driving him here personally. A couple of tanks of gasoline for 2 of them.

Ill be honest, I didnt know much about the player, but after doing some research he does sound like a good player. 10 years ago I could never imagine signing a player for 10m that will effectively be used as a 'back-up'. How times have changed, thankfully for the better :)

A country that have so many great talents, don't challenge at the moment. One of the reasons for this, is when they had Raymond Domenech, who is a perfect example of a football man who don't have sense for building a team. (He would suit Liverpool).
I don't agree with Laurent Blanc either. Let's wait and see if he will get his head back on track soon.

If he was in transit, surely the club would have issued a statement saying we had reached an agreement or such, s I think nothing has happened yet with this deal...

Is this French radio credible? Could just be like our talkshite

Tbh british media is the only I know of that across the board blatantly fabricate stuff. We've seen the spanish media, but a least they're being fed the info. Serious french media wouldn't post this unless they as a minimum had people spotting him at the airport..

Really? Is this true? I thought it was this bad everywhere. It would be nice to have some restored faith in humanity. Maybe Murdoch's had us face down in the gutter long enough we've forgotten there're alternatives.
