Not sure he got my meaning. Where there's a foul in the box preventing a goal scoring opportunity, the new rule evidently says something like pen but no straight red, providing the challenge was mistimed not cynical.

The Cana sending off was not the best example, a because it was a second yellow and b the offence was outside the box, and c a cynical handball...

Just a talking point.
