surely Spurs could be seen as an attractive destination for him

Sexy football and Harry gone, so we're not overloaded with strikers like the big spenders

the only brick wall would be Levy

Liverpool and Chelsea don't really have established top class strikers either so kind of depends who's in the CL next season and who's willing to cough up the money Brighton will ask for. Also still unclear how Hojlund will do at United

Right now Brighton seems like a pretty attractive destination for him…

I don’t think we will ever pay what it takes to get a player like Ferguson, even if he were available on a free.

Probably out of reach for us. Liverpool were in for him but he turned them down and went to Brighton due to more chance of first team football. Think he is a Man Utd fan so imagine he'd love to play for them but just feels like someone Chelsea will be all over next summer and will probably put down money Brighton can't refuse. They need a striker and good chance he goes there and goes straight into the team ahead of Jackson imo.

He is so young, can bide his time and get a get a couple of season under his belt at Brighton but money talks.

I said last season he was the one but we’ve long missed our chance now.
Yea fair play to you and others who called this, I couldn’t see it myself but he does seem like the next Kane/Rooney etc, incredible talent.

We could be his preferred destination (stop laughing at the back!) but there's no way we're dropping £150M+ on a single player. He will never play for us. It's time to come to terms with that.

City have Haaland
United spent 70mill+ on Hojlund
Liverpool spent 80mill + on Nunez
Arsenal have Jesus

Chelsea and us are the one's who arguably should be interested in signing him. Unfortunately I don't see us affording him as Brighton would demand silly money for him whereas Chelsea spend money for fun.

I mean, with the way they throw money around, especially to Brighton, it's a nailed on £150m move to Chelsea next summer isn't it...

Not sure Chelsea will go for him as they can only spread payments over 5 years as of next season, not the 35 they have been the last three years.

His goal against Newcastle from outside the box reminded me of Kanes first goal in the 5-3 against Chelsea under Pochettino.

Not in that they were similar goals but I think that was the moment where a lot of people realised there was something special there.

For me, he scored a goal last season (can't remember against who) where the movement was so kane-esque that it was almost frightening. He has so much quality it's unreal
