Never seen him play but just watched the youtube vid and he looks very good. Seems to have it all. Of course, youtube doesn't tell us everything because it is a curated video of his best bits.

For the fee quoted it seems a no brainer it really does.

I'd prefer a higher profile LCB however this guy and then say Bremer as CB would on paper be excellent business.

Agree, for so long the club never seemed to be in sync with the best talents around Europe and our signings seemed to always be random punts. It does seem this window and last that we are finally going after the right type of players and if we can’t get our first choices we have sensible alternatives rather than scrambling around last minute in desperation.

Yeah you can look through my recent posts, I’ve said the exact same thing so you’re preaching to the choir, I am just putting that out there for people who don’t think we already have a quality LCB and would get in Bastoni, Ndicka etc to keep Ben firmly glued to the bench.

Was just coming on to say about the ledley comparison. He very rarely goes to ground which is good to see in a defender
Esp when coming from another league as can lead to them being caught out a lot. Like Aurier used to as he always used to go to ground. If conte is on board with him then get it done.

I have not seen him play much - so not going to pretend I know him. I have watched him couple of occasions in their Europa League run.
In those games, he wasn't smooth but he did what he supposed to do - cleared his lines when needed, did the defensive side of the job and helped Kostic to attack.

His Stats - Has played 4 Bundesliga seasons. Aerial duels - best of all LCBs linked to us. Progressive passing - comparatively not so progressive . This may be down to how Frankfurt were set up.

If we go for him, I expect him to be more defensive minded. All for him, as an option.
