The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to sign him and Laporte. Not only can he play LCB but he can also play as a LB.

We could use him as a LB in some games and when in possession, he could tuck in meaning we could move to a back 3 with Porro joining the attack and staying wide on the right (which would get the best out of him). The same way we could play Emerson as a RB and he could tuck in and allow Udogie to push up as a LWB.

Signing both him and Laporte would give us quite a few options tactically.

Sounds like he's had an average season with Frankfurt but there's no doubting he's looked very good in the past and perhaps he needs a change of scenery, hence not renewing his contract.

Ultimately he'd be free so there's little to no risk. Plenty of good players available for free this summer. It's becoming a regular thing now and we need to start taking advantage.

Good thing that’s Paratici’s forte, oh no wait a minute….

I know we've been linked by our ITKs on Ndicka and it mentioned we may step up our efforts once the manager is sorted out.

Looks like we may have to move quickly

Frankfurt officially confirmed Ndicka will leave the club.

Guess Roma still most likely at this point.

You’d have thought we’d be all over this if we wanted him.

If we signed Ndicka as a potential LB as well as CB we could afford to lose Perisic, Sessegnon and Reguillon imo. Laporte would be right at the top of my list though.

Romano says he is very advanced to join Roma now. Personally I am very disappointed as I feel he could have been great for us but hopefully we have some other decent targets/plans in place.

Yeah if we don’t sign Laporte this guy would have been very high up my list of alternatives

Would seem strange to let him slip off to Roma on a free when our centre backs are absolute pony..
