He's primarily played in a back three or as a defensive left back and his biggest defensive weakness is aerial duels.
I'm not sure he's the centre back Ange is looking for.

I seem to remember the line from the ITKs was that we would wait until summer 2023 as our top targets were more gettable and/or had contracts running down

Im confident, speaking as a fan and professionally, that had we have seriously gone in for him he would have come to us rather than Roma. No way of proving it of course, just an opinion.
