Everton getting a pasting by Benfica. :grin: 5-0 right now with 10 min to go. Lets hope this damages their confidence for Wednesdays CC Cup game and that their league form gets hit too

I'd say their league form has already been hit. 3 wins, 2 draws, 3 losses so far and only met Arsenal of the teams in the top of the table.

I'm sure they'll pick up eventually especially as Moyes besides the loss of Lescott seems to have brought in some decent players in Bilyaletdinov, Heitinga and Distin to build on their previously thin squad.

But it is relaxing to see that more of the teams expected to challenge us in the challenge for the top spots isn't living up to it, must be something in the water in Liverpool this season maybe :grin:

Everton had 11 players missing, and by the looks of it another 11 missing on the pitch. That's some beating.

Would be a good win for Fulham if they can hold out.

The Uefa used to have big teams in it and a lot more prestige, since the Champions League was increased all the big teams are in that now, aside from us obviously, and the Europa League has been left with shite like Bolton over the years.
