The 2nd half Everton were the team I was expecting us to play, and for that reason I would have took a point att the start of the game. Having said that we should have been hosed and dry at half time with a bit more conviction (and some luck). But a point at Goodison is not to bad.

Everton vs Tottenham live on sky, who shall we get as pundits for the game? Two ex-Liverpool obviously.

game of two halves definitely. we looked extra tired in the second half. maybe the team needs some more rotation?

I'll take that point. Very odd game. Very frustrating. One good decision in all of the good positions we were in today and we would have won. All round our decision making was very poor.

No idea what Kyle was doing on the right today, a ball to him was obsolete as he just passed it back, inside and back.

Very annoyed with him as there was space all day behind Baines and he's got the legs on him.

Everton were bang average and almost set themselves up to lose.

We should have buried them in the first half really.

Anyway, a point gained away.

Next.

I thought we lacked precision and ideas in the final third today. Kept passing to blue shirts, smashing it at blue shirts, dribbling into cul-de-sacs and making a balls of give and goes. Kane looked jaded again.rly at his best.
Kane could do with a break and Eriksen is still not at his best. I think an attacking player or two in the window would freshen up the team and increase our options

Haha Carroll is so not good enough!!
Why do you find that funny? He's young, clearly talented and had a good first half. Many of our players were not good enough in the second half. People were saying that about Kane for years.

What a frustrating second half performance. Son was fucking infuriating.

I would have taken a draw before hand and I'll take one now but the way we tired in that game was not good.

Very disappointed with Son's showing. Really poor first touch, and I expected much more energy considering he arrived late. Getting out-dribbled back n forth like that by a fucking CB should be embarrassing for any winger/forward. I used to get hard when I saw a CB trying a dribble.

A good point. Away at Everton who had their tails up after poor form, plenty of positives to be taken. Son and Chadli looked really poor when called upon. Carroll is a strange one, he clearly has lovely technique and a good football brain but the trade off is so big you wonder if it's worth it. He gets completely dominated a lot of the time. Barkley (who was fantastic for them) had Carroll on toast.

Disappointed not to win, but after Davies rattled the bar in the first half, I had that feeling that we were'nt going to get the 3 points our first half display deserved.

Thought over the 90 minutes we still would have been worth the 3 points, despite Everton improving.just needed a bit more luck in front of goal.

The energy employed by Everton in the 2nd half baffled me. They will not have much left in them now for their semi-final tie against Man C on Wednesday !
Fair play to them though. Fair result in the end.
