Would have liked Jenas to start instead of Hudd today. Think his energy would have brought more to the game than Hudd's passing.

Hopefully we start as we finished against Villa last week. Lennon hopefully be able to get at Baines early, draw a booking, force him onto the backfoot. He's gonna be key.

Everton are not in a false position, there are no false positions in the Premier League; they haven't been good enough so far this season thats why they are there

Same team as Villa away then. I really hope we don't make the same start to the game than we did there, lets just keep possession and frustrate them. Any early fight from Everton should easily be quashed if we just knock the ball about, don't concede too many corners and silly free kicks and establish an element of control on the game. I was in favour of Jenas to start today so I hope Hudd can bring the last 70 minutes in the villa game and add a good, controlled first 20 today.

what, like we 'contolled' the first 20 against United during the week?!

Getting goals on the scoreboard is what we have to do, we're still not fully capable of controlling a game and restricting the opposition of getting chances.

We did it against Villa last week pretty well.

They are playing five in Midfield. I hope Huddlestone can cope!

partially true, it was down to Villa not playing also.

But if you look at it, they conceded the goal and were able to go straight up the other end and create a chance which Heskey nearly took. Corluka/Lennon stood off Young, allowing the cross into the box. CANNOT do that today.

Would you have said that about us last season, two points from eight games?

Well if Everton play like they did against Liverpool (although they were the better team), we should have plenty of possesion. They only had 1 tactic which was the long ball, it was only Liverpool's complete ineptness at keeping the ball that allowed them to look like the better team. I think we should be ok today...

Different game from Utd. Moyes will have them fired up and I'm sure they will come out and try to get on top of us with their fans right behind them. It's about extinguishing their threat early on because their confidence will be shaky.

A good first 20 then I hope we can come out and win the game comfortably. Not that I'd complain with an early goal

'Arry on Sky Sports:

Got to play the same way as we did at Villa second half, difficult to leave Keane out but with Crouchie and JD doing well the last two weeks, doesn't want to change just yet.
