Same old tottenham, selling our strikeforce and replacing them with a championship player and a player from the mighty russian league. We will always be mid table.

Say what you like about the squad, how weak or strong it is but one things sure...apart from up front its much much stronger than this time last season. In fact its so much stronger, even taking into account our weakening in the striker dept, i would have swapped a squad containing Berbatov,Keane and Defoe for the squad we have now.Gomes,Hutton,Woodgate,Corluka,Modric,GDS,Bentley and Pavlychenku more than make up for the loss of those three.
And don't forget Bale and King. I'm sure we will concede far less than 60 in the league to more than make up for less striking power, and we will do much better than that inferior 11th finish. We should see more of 1-0 or 2-0 wins this season, IMO.

I'll reserve judgment on both players until they've strung 15 games together in a row. King is clearly not going to play every game and I have a worry in my belly that Bale is another sicknote. I hope I'm wrong, but at the moment I don't like us relying on them to the extent we seem to be
