Like his tactics, I don't understand if you're serious or pulling our leg.

🤔🤗
I am dead serious about it. The Poch chants were more embarrassing than our miserable performance last night!

I don‘t understand why we expect to be progressing to the CL final if our second most important player is injured and some other players are completely out of form. That‘s not on Conte - don‘t fall for it and stop turning on him. It‘s always the same pattern, can‘t you see it?!

But as the pundits rightly said last night there is no point us even being in the CL if we aren’t going to compete or go for it, if we just make up the numbers and defend and whimper out it serves no purpose other than financial, whereas if we got the new manager in sooner rather than later they’d have more time to build towards a potentially successful season next season.

Top 4 isn’t a trophy, I really couldn’t care less right now if we finish 4th,5th,6th,7th, without a solid plan behind the right new manager it doesn’t matter.

But losing to forest doesn’t change whether we have a plan or not, it just means we lose to forest and are less likely to finish in the top 4.

You say that top 4 doesn’t matter, and to an extent you’re right, however if we do what you’re asking and get in a manager that’s been well thought out, I’d much rather be in the champions league than not.

Even if it means we don’t play every weekend on Sunday.

We don't know for a FACT that he has been offered a new contract - but let's put that to one side.

I am questioning why a serial winner on 15M+ per year doesn't want to be at our club, because I doubt it's a salary issue. More fans on here should be asking that question IMHO.

Because we’re not as rich as City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool and soon Newcastle.
Conte isn’t stupid, he can’t compete for trophies against that level of competition every season, at Spurs. THAT’s why he doesn’t want to stay long term, because he’ll get a bette opportunity to be successful somewhere else soon.

He chats shit about the club, and he plays the boring, defensive football. Whatever happened last season, has faded away. He wants to leave, I’m more than happy to have a manager who’s ego doesn’t get in the way of making spurs an entertaining past time.

The FA Cup exit fucked me off much more than the CL exit. As Kane said it was an opportunity to set the mood and intent.

It caused us to then HAVE to win the CL game rather than go in with confidence.

I wasn't ever confident about us in the CL under Cone, as his form is so poor in this regard. But I could stomach that had we progressed in the FA Cup and not lost our way into the league.

I also could stomach the first half of the season had we started to see improvements once players returned and the schedule ramps up.

I think if we had a cone over us last night I would've been more confident but alas 🤷‍♂️

Son? Worst ever season
Kulu? Poor since the winter re-start
Richarlison? Struggling

These are some of the best players in the league, and they're playing pretty shit. Conte is the coach, he's not improving them, they've become worse players in the last 6 months. That's 100% on him, regardless of what you think about the rest of the squad holes.

RIcharlison? Among the best players in the league?

Probably not the right thread but just turned the channel over to see a team who got an absolute pasting by their most hated rivals at the weekend and see them score 2 in 5 mins to go 3-1 up…..🤷🏻

Yep that game was a disaster and killed our season. 2 morale boosting wins against West Ham and Chelsea and were flying, we have momentum and belief.

Then for a 4th year running we make the same old fucking error or under estimating the opposition and playing a weakened side - still though it was for a good reason, it was so we could rest players for our defeat the following Saturday.

What that tells me is that the bonuses and remuneration and entire drive of the club is finishing top 4 and domestic cups can go hang.

I hate Daniel Levy, he has sucked all the joy out of football for me, he has killed any footballing dream I have had and he won’t get a penny more of my money after this season. The only dream I have left is the day that bald fuck pisses off.

What about Sheffield Utd? Or Forest in the cup? Should we expect to be progressing past them or nah? Suppose our best player was missing for the former. Sat on the bench. Wonder whose choice that was.

Also, in a more selfish financial viewpoint, I’m paying out of my skin for a season ticket and am utterly fucking bored out of my mind every time we play.

Literally only go to see my mates at the moment.
And it costs me a fucking fortune with pints in no8 £8

Exactly this. Look at who is left in the FA cup. Massive opportunity missed

You need to have a serious word with yourself……supporting Spurs……I’m guessing you didn’t have a choice, it was forced on you, but going to No8 and paying their prices……that’s on you…..😂

But Poch and Jose were also guilty of this not just Conte. The common issue is Levy - seems clear to me that Levy attaches great bonuses to top 4 and fuck all to the cups

Get Levy the fuck out of this club

While the bigger problem is most certainly the board, this past week feels like the end of Conte.
It's not so much that we've been knocked out of two cups, it's the way we were knocked out.

We've been in this situation enough times to recognise the death rattles of our manager and this feels like that.

It's not going to solve any long term issues because of...well...Levy but I just can't see any way forward from here apart from managerial change.

I don't want it, I don't particularly like it but I'm resigned to the fact that it's going to happen sooner rather than later. It's the same old pattern.
And the situation we're in is why I can't get overly enthralled about the idea of whoever may come in next.

We will look past this setback if we manage to finish in the top 4.
Let‘s stay calm and get at least behind the team now. Son definitely needs to be benched though.
