The irony of it all it is, I seen people on here blaming levy for the Nuno appointment because he appointed Paratici, who pushed for him. But now won't give Levy credit for appointing Paratici, who was then able to lure Conte because of their previous relationship.

There is absolutely no chance Winks will become anything under Conte. He's a fantastic coach but he's not a miracle worker. Winks is just a shite player who needs to be jogged on to a Burnley or something.

It's more likely he may get some joy out of Bergjwin, Moura, Dier maybe even Sanchez (although I'm doubtful) etc who aren't really good enough but are floating around the fringes and Conte might bring some consistency out of them.

IMO Alli and Winks are too far gone and the club really need to cash in.

The thing is, we will obviously want to bring players in, every coach will want that and Conte will definitely want 3 - 4 new players in ASAP. There has to be some players who make way.

My guess will be Sanchez who didn't want to leave in the summer, will be strongly told to find a new club. Rodon may get moved on as he's not had a look in. Winks will be told to move on who also didn't get look in. Alli the same. I think time might soon be up for Bergjwin too.

We can't keep giving mediocre footballers 9 lives everytime we hire a new manager.

Conte is here to get a tune out of the decent potential players and stars like Reguilon, Romero, Ndombele, Royal, Skipp, GLC, Son, Kane and then on top of that add 3 - 4 new signings.

Conte isn't a magic wand, we still need to sort the squad out.

Lets be clear here. This is not some DL masterstroke. It's down to FP and money being promised from above. I'm not saying he's had no involvement, and it was all him that brought in FP in the first place. That is as far as it goes though. The credit for this all belongs to FP.
