A lot of people are talking about tactics and formations which can be seen from first half evidence makes not a jot of difference if our basic skills are poor. I will exempt ED from this who I thought was brilliant, but basic control skills were poor, weight of passing and accuracy poor and competing for the ball against hungry young players poor. This really needs to be addressed as against better sides than Leeds we cannot afford to give the ball away on a regular basis as first half. Second half was totally better but should it take a bollocking to do that which should be natural?
Still like a lot of what I see, an example of which is throw ins, where the ball is thrown into space for the player to run on to rather than very short to feet creating no space to use, and defenders passing forward to players in midfield coming deep rather than played tight wide. Lots of promise, may long it continue
