We all love Conte and I’m no exception but we can’t be having this emotional rollercoaster after every poor result ,he’s the figurehead of the team and he needs to conduct himself a lot better after situations like last night.
He can’t be crowd surfing one minute then threatening to quit the next,we’re all devastated with the last 4/5 results ,can he not air his frustration ,angst away from the glare of the media?
But we knew what type of character he is poch was also emotional as well.

I’m expecting him to offer his resignation this morning (or at some point in the coming months) and pretty much say they need to back him completely in the summer or let him leave. Seems the sort of person to do it based on impressions. I know he’s a top quality manager - I just personally don’t like the uncertainty the whole time.

Waking up to see his quotes from last night.

I think everyone needs to stop taking his words at face value every single time. Media are going to lap this up though. Levy needs to have a word with him being such a loose cannon in these interviews.

Perhaps I am being naïve but I think he will come up with something to fix the issues now within the group of players we have to stop the rot, and then start to build the squad he actually wants in the summer. Something has to change, because the tactics we are employing against these types of sides isn't working and I think Conte is smart enough to resolve it.

Watching that suggests to he’s saying there are too many players that aren’t good enough. We know that.
I think his problem is the board and the transfer window. He expected to buy players who could fix things now but the club buy players who might be able to do it in the future.

Players can be changed but he must feel the situation is unfixable.

Agreed but Poch didn’t go full nuclear as soon into the job as this
True but everyone is different though aren't they.
Maybe he does want out maybe he doesn't fancy it and who can blame him.
Perhaps our next manager needs to be Merlin otherwise I think that's it for us.

I'm glad he's taking some responsibility.

Whatever the cracks in our squad, it is stronger than Southampton, Burnley and Wolves. That's got to at least sit partly with Conte.

Agree with both of these. People have been wanting him to take responsibility. Now he is it’s a disaster. He can’t air his dirty laundry in public like this though. Helps nobody.

He obviously hurting just like the fans, some of the players aren’t up to the level we are aiming for. One game we beat city the next we couldn’t beat eggs. Danny boy better watch what he is doing as I really think he will walk in the summer if we don’t properly back him

Sorry but if he would say that the situation is too difficult and run away, that would speak loads about his character and would be truly pathetic.

Well I'm putting this down now.

He won't be backed to his liking this summer imo.

I did call this week one though when he was talking about “patience”. I said we are patient, but the one person who really will need to have the most above anyone else is him.

I suspect his words are frustration more than anything else. Not very clever though nonetheless and I suspect he’ll be seeing levy for a dressing down today.

Conte's comments are quite worrying.

This is an alien situation for him, everything here is different from his past clubs. He has always had clubs that challenge for top honours. It's different here. I suspect he thought he could turn it around quicker with the current group. It's dawned on him that he can't. I get the impression he is now struggling with the realization of his current situation. Literally anything could happen in the short term...

I am genuinely worried about the current state of the club and the direction it is heading..

I have to say I am already tired of this kind of ridiculous posturing. If he doesn’t want to be here, then he should go. If he thought it was all going to be plain sailing as a Spurs manager then frankly he’s a fool. It’s not as though he’s been a huge success since he’s been here either.. Results have been really indifferent. We can’t have this uncertainty around the club. Similarly if any players want to go, then we should ship them all out.
I’d rather we were in a shed of a stadium pootling around in Division 1 than bring ground down by unachievable expectations and uncertainty due to egotistical managers, players and owners.
