We also have our most important build up player out, and he was clearly struggling before he was out the side.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

One last push today. Any win is a good win, then It's over to AC to regroup for the second half of the season.
Exactly - I mean the way that we are playing is so clearly obviously not sustainable - Conte is an intelligent guy, if it's clearly obvious to us then it's more than clearly obvious to him and therefore this is a case of 'trusting the process'. The guy is a winner - if he didn't think that he could achieve what he wants then he would have bailed out already. People just need to hold their nerve and ignore what's going on elsewhere.

Sorry but whatever you think of Doherty and Spence the fact Emerson is still first choice is genuinely embarassing from Conte. Crowd are completely on top of him nowadays, which just makes him play worse. How has he not realised this??!

Strange hill for conte to die on, no clue why he persists.

it's completely bizarre and his pig-headedness on this issue will bite him in the arse. Emerson is so far off being good enough in any shape or form.

It allows/requires both Bentancur and Hojbjerg to get further up the pitch.

But, it realistically comes at the expense of Kulusevski (When Sonny is fit) - so I don't think its a good trade off.

Son shouldn't be undroppable. How many good PL games this season? And easily the best was from off the bench

With the form both have been in, it should be at the expense of Son.
Yes and no. Ideally when you are playing 2 up top, you want one to have a bit of pace to get in behind. Form aside, that would be Sonny.

Lets hope everyone stays healthy, and we have options.

How he/we could do with another 2 signings like Kulu/Bent ??

Hopefully the break does him good now to refresh & rest, & then outline with FP who to target in Jan.

Kulu is deceptively fast and uses his strength perfectly to get past players.

His close control, two-footedness, ELITE DECISION MAKING and short burst acceleration make him a nuisance to defend against and probably our most important attacking player right now.
