Isnt it international break in two weeks or so? Lets see how the next two games go but suspect international break is when stuff will happen

He needs to go tomorrow, no more chances, no more excuses. The comments he made tonight are unacceptable, not to mention the performance. He doesn’t wanna be here so let’s put everyone out of their misery and move on!

I don’t even care if it’s Mason until end of season, just want Conte to fuck off.

Players look terrified to even try anything vaguely creative. The only chance we have of top 4 now is to act swiftly and bring in someone who wants the players to actually enjoy themselves.

Also, it seems to me like AC is more focused on winning against Levy than on anything else - and that’s all kinds of fucked up.

Worked late and caught up on the game just now. He can go now as far as I care.

I think the players and Levy are to blame too. But I cannot stand this ridiculously passive approach every single fucking game.

The crowd made an incredible atmosphere before kickoff, and then Conte's passive approach, as usual, allows the opposition to settle into the game and get on the front foot.

We were better second half but nowhere near enough creativity in this team.

The football is fucking awful and ultimately that's his responsibility and failure. Even when we win it's rarely an enjoyable watch, and I never feel like we're seeing a plan slowly coming together.

Proven in the past he aint a champions league manager; furthest he has got is the quarter-finals, with some of the teams his managed, that is a joke

I'm constantly pointing at the screen shouting move there into space, but the player just stands alongside the opposition player, the balls passed backwards, sideways, etc etc
One moment that really fucked me off was when a Milan player lost hos footing and the ball rolled to Hojbjerg. Milan were unstable but Hojbjerg immediately passed it back to Davies.

Used to think that was Hojbjerg being Hojbjerg but now I think Conte has instilled that in them.

Tonight was the first night I got the feeling that the players have lost faith in Conte. They should be getting a boost from Conte being back. It was the opposite. They looked as fed up and frustrated as the fans tonight.

Hard to blame them...if you are Kane, Kulu, Son you know you are pretty much reliant on Emerson and Perisic for chances..one is a defensive RB, the other is pretty much done. Skipp/Hojberg constantly getting overrun in a two man midfield.....they are adding nothing to attack and at best acting as cover for our three centre backs.

The Sanchez sub was heartbreaking.

Conte talking about having patience as fans again in his conference but is likely out the door at end of season.

Lol any manager in the world would have subbed in a cb in those circumstances. Hardly the stick to beat Conte with.

The real issue with Conte is that with 200 million over 3 windows and a full preseason the only players to have improved this season are Bentancur and Royal (and Royal had to do that all on his own).

Son, Kulu, Sess, Davies, Dier, Kane in many ways - all have regressed. Rather than us mastering his system the opposite has occured.

And not one of his summer signings have had any impact whatsoever.

That's the real worry.

Mot sure I get the criticism of the Sanchez sub. We went down to 10 men and only had 1 centre back. He actually changed system which everyone was crying out for and went with a back 4. Having said that of course we were so poor again. We had our first good attempt in injury time and too many players are not playing to their potential.

What we need is to replace Paratici when he officially gets banned. Get a new director to take over football side and keep Levy away. Get an investment to help provide that director with the funds in the window to do as he needs. Let him pick the manager and build the scout network. It has to be someone with a clear philosophy and someone who plays to win football matches. We need a fresh start throughout.
If we’re playing that game, I want Cameron Diaz to bathe me every day, Hans Zimmer to play the piano for me while I work, and Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell to fly me to-and-from Stansted on match days. 👌

We’ve played poorly all season with likes of Son and Kulusevski desperately off form.

Why does Conte not try to actually tweak his tactics rather than playing same system with players such as Perisic and hoping it will somehow not be as crap as it’s been for most matches this season?

He was terrible at Sheffield United. However, how Son got back ahead of him on current form was unjustifiable.
He was terrible because Son was back in the team and they have no chemistry (yet).

It was also his first start as CF for us.

I feel for the lad.

He only got limited game time at RWF, where he can't play.

Then when he scored vs Marseille he soon found himself on the bench, then he got injured.

Since he returned hes been getting minutes here and there despite Son being woeful.

He gets hos chance, the team lool better.

One bad performance and he's back out the team again.

And Conte called him to come!!

True.

I think he keeps saying "We have to work" as some sort of cover because he can't obviously say that hes just waiting to leave.

There's no depth of critique after games, its just blanket statements l.

If he was fighting for his job he'd be saying exactly why the team didn't win and exactly what they need to improve.

Instead he's basically saying "Spurs is a small club who don't win so not my fault"

Was actually a really good indicator because before the game I was certain theyd be a good performance and we'd do just enough to get through.

However, the first half showed that until the clock ticked down the players couldn't really step it up a notch.

If they had, Id say the players are figting for him.

Felt more like the players were fighting for themselves and Conte's system was holding them back

I may be in the minority, and maybe he's like this with every club, but he really isolates himself, doesn't he? Calls out the club's hierarchy (Can't blame him here), the history of the club, the players at times, and other than some cool touchline celebrations, the love or at least affection towards the club kind of always felt minimal, or at least fleeting. I think at first it was a breath of fresh air. The club needed to hear it, they needed the pressure, and we were good with it. But, for me, it got super tiring and if he's anything like that behind closed doors, it's not really a surprise if the players and/or club in general are a bit tired of him.

He had some time to correct things, he had some investment in key positions and I think all things considered, he should be able to develop a coherent gameplan and tactics depending on the situation. In the end, he just hasn't been worth it.

I’d quite happily have Mason in charge for the rest of the season.

Just tell the players to go out and play their natural games in a less rigid, more unpredictable, freer setup.

Might put a bit of joy back into it if nothing else.

Considering what Cesc Fabregas said about Conte, That's more then likely the case.

'I had coaches like Pep [Guardiola] who had a lot of positioning game but we had freedom inside of this. With Conte, the freedom was non-existent, he was telling me where I have to pass the ball.'
