I think we need to save this thread and come back in a years time.

Each time SK has given a list of recommended players they have almost all flopped. Seriously has to be the worst scouting attempt ever.

But his new list looks so different to the previous lists so you never know he might have learnt.

Out of all those teams listed in the OP by the great SK only City are our actual competition. The rest are teams below us competing for 6th-12th and below.

Well they were competing 6th-12th until they signed these exciting players, now the sky's the limit. Alternatively, as per most teams that assemble an exciting squad on SK's terms, they'll drop like a stone and get relegated...

I imagine you were equally as confused when Stoke got Shaqiri and Bojan.
no because bojan, shaqiri, aflellay, arnautovic all fit a certain profile of older, talented players who failed at big clubs for one reason or another, but Imbula looked a super prospect who is still young, but maybe he's not as good as i thought.

Premier League is the Premier League though and its not like bigger clubs were after him is it.

We didn't sign any of them as we're saving up so we can go all in for Willy Boly in the summer.

Ah right. I don't follow the window at all and I missed where he said "today." So yeah, obviously Ade wouldn't have been able to get into it. I'm only guessing that there was a white man or two who transferred but yeah, they've got fuck all chance of getting in. All in all, it should be a much smaller list in order for it to be altogether 'exciting.'

Well, Pep Guardiola, technically speaking, doesn't merit the term "list" ;)

Does that mean Pep is going to blow it now then?

Touch!

But definitely not a white man? That's completely out of the question right? You've probably been asked this a million times, but if you were in charge of our transfers, would we have an all black team?

The answer to that question is not yes, as it is all about finding the right players in the system, based on attributes for each and every player. It is all about having a team that can help each other to play good football. I would choose mostly my kind of players, but I would look at special players with skills in the same bracket as David Ginola for example.

Is it awful that I am not excited by any of that list?
It you don't like anyone on that list it shows that you are an average fan, and like most mainstream football fans. Even top managers in today's modern game is like that. Just look at McClaren at Newcastle for example. The most uninteresting manager you can come across in world football.

Spursking, will you ever once venture into spurs chat and discuss our current team. In case you didn't know we are in a title race. What do you think of that? Do you think Poch has done well and has found some good talents?

I know we are in a title race now, and I love it! :) I think Poch has done an excellent job at Spurs. It is not only his manager skills in terms of tactics, but also when it comes to being a human towards players, media and other people. We have some interesting talents at the club now, and I hope we can add to the academy in the coming years. Players like Onomah, N'Jie will need some time to adapt. N'Jie needs time to get back after a long term injury. I like what I see from the current Spurs team, but I feel that now is the time to invest a little bit more to push. Imbula and Niasse would for example be players we should have challenged for during deadline day.

I, unlike some people, have never claimed to be anything but an average football fan, I don't see it as an insult, I am one of the millions who are the heart of the game and I am happy with that.
what I am not is a fan who thinks I have some special gift for seeing quality in players that other people miss, I sometimes do but I don't claim to be superior, I'll leave that to others even though most of their recommendations fail.
Why did you bring McClaren into this conversation? Does he not like those players? How do you know that?

Spursking in over 5000 posts you have not offered any insight into football or players whatsoever. Your scouting network is no more than promoting every African player on the planet.

I have asked you on numerous occasions to advise on the attributes of players you have recommended and not once have you responded. The reason is simply because you haven't got a clue about football or the players you are promoting.

We accept you as a racist troll because you are a joke. You are friendly in a strange way and we enjoy laughing at you.

But please don't start accusing other posters of not knowing anything or being an average fan. Just continue being the friendly joke that you are and you will be one troll who will be safe to post on the site without any real vitriol directed at you.
